September 2024 Youth Newsletter
We hope everyone has had a smooth transition and adjustment getting back to school this year!
1 John 4:9-11
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
This month we're looking at a slower month, with one big activity for our youth on the 13th, and our bi-weekly young adult studies starting for guys and girls on the 1st being the only notable things besides our regular meetings. We do have our all youth pool party Sat, August 31st, but students who haven't signed up need to do so today, Thursday the 29th, no later than 2pm if they want to attend!
We're also continuing with our memory verse of 1 John 4:9-11, with testing for that going on through September, so keep working on memorizing that so you can earn a shirt. We'd love it if all of our students memorized this passage as it's got a lot of good truth in it, and will be a big part of our ministry and outreach focus over the next year or more.
