Less snow than last year!
1 John 3:16-18
By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
Last year we cancelled what felt like every other week of youth group for snow, but this year we're still holding out for a big snow day! We've got a lot going on this month, including a service opportunity, an overnighter, a movie night, and our annual Easter Sunrise Hike!
We have an opportunity to help someone from our church with their move on Saturday the 2nd, from 8am-1pm. This is a chance to serve and to raise funds for our youth fund, so we'd encourage those able to join us and help. Please email Jonathan by Thursday if you'd like to help!
We've got an all youth overnighter on the 8th-9th that is going to be a ton of fun! We'll have pizza, games, and plenty of fun for the whole evening! Bring a sleeping bag, the necessities, and a favorite board game and we'll make a night of it!
Our high school group is going to get together for a relaxed movie night complete with popcorn and snacks on the 30th. We'll start at 6:30pm and finish around 9:00pm when the movie is over!
Finally, we've got our annual sunrise hike for Easter! We'll meet Easter morning at 5:15am to carpool to our hike, get to the top before sunrise for a Bible study and time for reflection, and we'll be back to the church around 7:45am.
We can give students a ride home if needed and students are also free to drive themselves if they'd like.
