Growing at Grace

Ways we develop as followers of Jesus.

What helps us to grow and mature in our walk with Jesus?  What practices and rhythms contribute to our becoming more like Him?
How can we be shaped by scripture and equipped to Know Christ and Make Him Known?

Growing in faith is a day by day, week by week lifelong journey.  Below are resources to help you along the way.

Church Rhythm of Prepare, Attend, Reflect, and Act.

This rhythm can foster being shaped by scripture.  It helps us to engage God's word both directly ourselves and in community.  When we scaffold the messages from Sunday Morning and Midweek Teaching  with personal preparation ahead of time and personal or group reflection afterwards we deepen the impact of God's word as we apply it to our head, heart and hands.

Prepare

Sermon Notes are updated Fridays at noon for the upcoming weekend message.  These included devotional thoughts related to the message along with scriptures to read and ponder ahead of time.
Midweek Teaching scripture and resources are sent via push notifications (in the app) and included in the description of the upcoming livestream (in the app and on the website).  The schedule is available at the start of each series and is also attached to the video recordings.

Attend

Sunday morning services are at 8:30 or 10:30 am
Midweek Teaching is on Wednesdays at 7pm
Both Sunday morning services and Midweek Teaching are livestreamed.

Reflect

Sermon: Questions are listed in the Sermon Notes to aid you in reflection and further pursuit of the content covered.
Midweek Teaching:  Take time to reflect on what impacted you most from the teaching, what challenged you or encouraged you.  What did you learn about the character of God?

Act

- What is one specific thing you can do to put into practice what you learned in this message?
- How can you deepen your relationship with God and follow Him more closely this week?
- Who is someone you can share what you learned with?

Opportunities to grow in community

As we navigate all that encompasses the life of a follower of Jesus we need others to come alongside us with encouragement and support.  We need regular reminders of the Truth of who God is and who we are as His children.   Use the links below to discover how you can connect deeper with others through one of our Growth Groups, various ministries or areas of service.

Baptism

Baptism is our public declaration that we have understood and accepted the good news of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection working for us forgiveness of sins and restoring our relationship with God.  If you would like to learn more about baptism, please reach out to Pastor Erik or Dakota.
