Grace Team

This is a team who desires to minister to the family of Grace, primarily in the areas of safety and security; that also includes emergency and medical response.  Their primary goal is to keep Grace a safe and secure place, but also a welcoming and comfortable place.  Dan Braun is the coordinator for this team.

Grace Kids

Each Sunday, our 1st-4th grade join for the singing portion of the worship service, and then leave for their own lesson.  Our Kindergarteners and younger can be dropped off before the service begins. We always need help of all kinds in this area – teachers, aides, helpers, etc.  After you have attended Grace for 6 months, if you are interested, please contact Melony Lucas, our Children’s Ministry Coordinator. Background checks are required for those over 18 years of age.

Welcome Team

If you are a friendly person we can always use folks to help greet people on Sunday mornings and be ambassadors of Grace to all who come through Grace’s doors.  Let Pastor Dale Norton know if you are interested in serving.

Communion Team

This team prepares, helps serve, and cleans up after communion once a month.

Ray Brockman leads this team.

VBS

One week a year in June, we host vacation Bible school. We usually serve around 100 children. We love to have volunteers of all ages helping with this event.  Mel Lucas, our children’s coordinator,  is in charge of this outreach

Angel House Host

This is a ministry to families who are homeless (not vagrant) in our community.  Our church hosts families every 9 weeks for a one week stay.  All kinds of jobs can be filled, both large and small.  Watch for the volunteer signup!  Jeremy Lucas heads this up.

EXPLORING GRACE

You can serve others in more ways than we can list here but if you’d like to be a part of any of the established ministries at Grace, we encourage you to participate in our Exploring Grace class.

This 4 week class takes place 3 times a year and starts at 9:00 am on Sunday. It’s a great opportunity for you to find out more about Grace Community Church, what we believe, and the vision of our church. It’s also a great opportunity for us to learn more about you and help get you connected.

If you are interested in this class please contact the church office so we can build a schedule that works for you.

Please visit Grace Community Church any time and talk with the elders, with members of the church, or with a Pastor. The people who call Grace Community their church home will be your best source of information and insight into serving with the family at Grace.
