  1. What challenged you or encouraged you from the message today?
  2. Read Ephesians 4:20-31.  What ideas or words stuck out to you in these verses? 
  3. In your own words, what does it mean to “put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor”?
  4. What is the reason that the Apostle Paul gives for “speaking truthfully” in verse 25?  What implications does this have for the way we should live as a Christian community?
  5. Paul uses the analogy of Christians being a body several places in the Bible.  How does lying or speaking truth effect the Christian community?
  6. Read Ephesians 4:15. How does this verse help us to better understand how to speak the truth to each other?  How does “speaking the truth in love” effect the Christian community?
  7. How would other people describe the way that you talk to them?  Are there areas where you can improve on “speaking the truth in love”?
  8. What is one thing God is calling you to do as a result of what you have heard today?  By God’s grace, how can you apply this to your life this week?
