Holy Spirit 101

In John 14:16, Jesus tells his followers, "I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever--the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you." The Holy Spirit is part of our daily reality as believers, residing in us. Our God Who Is Within Us is our in-house women's retreat designed to draw our awareness to the presence of the Holy Spirit and marvel together that he has chosen to live within us. We'll examine the implications of his presence for our relationship with God and our relationship with the world around us.
