Gift of Repentance

Repentance is a word that evokes all kinds of responses and emotions in our hearts. Some of us have warm and tender memories of God's loving response to our repentance. Some of us have had the concept of repentance linked to guilt and shame in a way that causes pain. Some of us have not spent much time thinking about repentance at all, if we are really honest. Our intention with this event is to celebrate the true and biblical understanding of repentance as a gift that God offers to draw us closer to him.
