Grace Airways Children's Ministry
Helping children to know Christ.
Grace Airways exists to navigate the scriptures, training up bold disciples, on our ongoing journey to Jesus. We value learning Bible truths and Bible verses from the youngest age. There are a variety of roles in our ministry to serve children and their families.

Floor Supervisor
For those who consider themselves a people person and enjoy meeting others, who enjoy keeping people safe, are able to think quickly on their feet, and have the ability to help people in times of stress.
Floor Supervisors are a combination of Ambassador, Security, and Support. They greet new families and help check children in, take children to and from restrooms, & pray over classes while walking the children's hallway.

- Welcome new families
- Provide support for classrooms: bathroom breaks, help with children needing to re-focus, communicating with parents if they are needed, etc.

- Once/month - Sun morning 10:10-11:45
- Attend bi-annual trainings (Spring & Fall)
Barnabas Ministry
For those who have the ability to use a variety of skills and alternative methods to help students who need extra support to be successful in class.
Whether it’s a need for extra help learning the Bible, a developmental need, or simply some extra love during a tough time, Barnabas buddies are there to minister, love, and care. As a Barnabas buddy, you’ll be assigned to a child in need to help them to get the same message, the same love, and have the same fun all our Grace Kids do.

- Responsible and able to set a good example to the children.
- Have patience, flexibility, and an ability to accommodate special needs and face challenges with calmness and grace.
- Desire to know our children and families with various challenges like learning, social, or developmental struggles, or simply needing extra care.
- Attend Morning Huddle on the Sundays you serve @ 10:10AM
- Provide one-on-one support for individuals with specific special needs, or
- Provide co-pilot support for children who just need a little extra help.
- Pray for the children and families you get to know.

- Attend bi-annual trainings (Spring & Fall)
Nursery
For those who enjoy spending time with babies and toddlers! Our Nursery volunteers make Christ known by providing loving care for our littlest members so parents can focus on the message.

Pilots & Co-Pilots
For those who enjoy spending time with children! Who enjoy learning about Jesus and His word and sharing what they've learned. We make Christ known by navigating the scriptures with our younger congregants, providing loving care and age-appropriate activities so parents can focus on the message.
Positions are available for both adult and youth volunteers!
Preschool & Kindergarten
Pilots (Teachers)
Make Christ known to our youngest congregants by preparing throughout the week to present the Gospel to our kids on Sunday Mornings.
What you do:
What you do:
- Join Morning Huddle for prayer, reminders, and any announcements for the morning at 10:10 AM
- Prepare for and teach Lesson– ask for any necessary supplies by Thursday before the weekend
- Love on, play with, & disciple students
- Guide co-pilot in their service to you and the kids
- Pray for the children, families, program, etc...
- Attend Fellowship meetings (Jan, Feb, Mar, Sept & Oct ) & bi-annual Trainings (Spring and Fall)
- 1 Sunday a month (~1 hour prep time / 1.5 hour Sunday Morning) 10:10-11:45 (Huddle @ 10:10)
- Fellowship meetings and trainings
Co- Pilots (Helpers)

Elementary

Worship Team
Those who enjoy sharing the Gospel through music and are skilled in either vocal or instrumental music.
Auditions are required.

Training is provided!
Those who are comfortable around computers and enjoy working behind the scenes, can think quickly and problem solve in the moment & enjoy having a support role.
- Slides - Operate the ProPresenter Computer
- Producer - Monitor the online stream & Camera switching
Those who have a good ear for sound mixing & enjoy assisting with sharing the Gospel through music behind the scenes by providing quality sound and worship team support.
