THE BIG PICTURE

Come along with Wing Nut the dog and AP the duck as they travel on a journey of a lifetime.  First stop is the hangar where we prepare for takeoff through our Bible Verse and Big Picture Question.  Next up is our destination-the Bible Story.  We follow this up with hands-on experience in the Flight Lab and conclude our trip with the Pilot's Log.

As a children’s ministry team, we consider it a great privilege and joy to serve families.  Our deepest desire is to love well the children in our care and to teach them with passion and creativity; instilling a sense of Wonder at our God who loves us so very much.

  • All volunteers are trained and background checked
  • Secure check in/out system
  • Staff in the hallway to pray over the children and volunteers along with provide any support needed.

PRE-SCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN

Our preschool and kindergartners worship together with their parents and are dismissed right before the sermon. This allows families to worship together in song, and then be brought back for age-appropriate teaching.

During the school year (September-May) we incorporate The Gospel Project curriculum into our Grace Airways schedule. In the Summer we break from our regular programming and focus on Global Missions in some way.

The Gospel Project takes kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture.  Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation.  When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed.  We believe the Gospel changes everything and seek to center all we do around Jesus.

WHAT DID YOUR KIDS LEARN THIS WEEK?

Slide7

Children are precious to Jesus.  Amy Carmichael knew this.  Jesus gave Amy her brown eyes and love for others.  Jesus had a purpose for Amy.  In India Amy was able to look like a native Indian because her eyes were brown and not blue like her family.  Because Amy could blend in and look native, she was able to rescue many children from being sold to the temple.

In her book Lotus Buds, Amy described children as 'Little buds that float and open on the water, lifting young innocent faces up to the light... gathered.... and crushed underfoot. But the little Lotus Buds are His - His and not another's, and she consecrated herself again to gather some of those flowers and offer them to their true Owner.'
